About Me

When I moved from the Maritimes to Ottawa in 1990 to go to school, I never dreamed I would make my life here, and follow in the footsteps of 4 generations of Sherwoods who made real estate a family business.

With a business degree from Ottawa U, lots of travel and life experience, as well as 10 years in the federal public service under my belt, I got my real estate license in 2010, and haven’t looked back. Working with Sellers, Buyers and Investors and giving back to the community through charity is what I love, and the philosophy here at Royal Lepage Team Realty lines up well with my own vision:

I’ve been helping clients buy and sell real estate in Ottawa since 2010 and have been in the top 10% of Realtors in our market for the majority of those years. My clients tell me they appreciate my knowledge of neighbourhood markets as well as houses, my ability to negotiate for them, my thoroughness and my ability to communicate/explain things well. I am known for problem solving to get my clients what they need, good analytics and for providing valuable information to my clients when they need it.

I love this city, with it’s bike paths, recreation and arts communities, delicious food spots and great coffee shops. Each neighbourhood has something interesting to offer, and it is my job to help buyers decide what neighbourhood is the right fit as well as which house. When working with sellers, it is my job to effectively price, position and market homes to maximize the sale price with minimum days on market. It is always my job to negotiate for my clients and protect their best interests.
